Spicy Triivia is a trivia bot for Discord that allows you to play trivia games with your friends in Discord.
What is it?
Spicy Triivia is a trivia bot for Discord that allows you to play trivia games with your friends in Discord. You can choose from a variety of categories and game lengths and you can change the duration of the rounds.
Additionally, with a subscription, you can choose to not see repeat questions for games you start yourself.
My Story
I created Spicy Triivia because I wanted to create a trivia bot as I pretty much completed another trivia bot while playing with my girlfriend. I decided to try and make my own and Spicy Triivia was born. It started as a passion project and I figure as I'm already trying to host it, I might as well make it available to others.
I have lots of ideas for the bot and I'm always looking for ways to improve it. If you have any ideas, please let me know. (Also... I know that Triivia has two "i"'s, was it because AI wouldn't generate an icon without two "i"'s? Maybe.)

Technical Stuff
The bot is programmed in Python3 using the discord.py library. The bot is hosted on a e2-micro instance on Google Cloud (for now, might move to a more powerful instance in the future). It's using firestore to store the user's statistics. It's also dockerised!
The only data I store that is personally identifiable is the user's discord ID. There is no tracking or analytics on this website. This is subject to change in the future.
